dancing lady

this is one of my besties, harper! she loves dancing and i need a little more drinks in me to go dancing so she had to dance alone but she didn't mind. I kinda love the blur motions right now. the shots i got were mostly blurred do to how much i was laughing not how much i was drinking. but i guess if i had more to drink i'd be dancing too and then there would be no pictures at all. I thought this pic would be appropriate for a saturday night post.

i dedicate this post to my sister for fixing our miserable internet problem! I love my new camera after looking at old pictures from my pig snout (point n shoot sony) and comparing them to nigel (nikon d80) shoot no contest! I will always prefer film and will never stop using milton (my minolta.) anyways this picture was behind me when i was sitting on a bench at the park with my nephew but i stretched around to capture some magnificence.

walking home the other night these trees caught my eye so i grabbed my point n shoot from my purse and shot away. using the camera flash was so so wrong so I went with the street light and i loved it! (by the way it took like 3 days to upload this!)

so I am thinking I have some pretty whack karma right now. just waiting now to what other messed up thing is gonna happen to me. i can't upload pictures today again, i think yesterdays upload was pure luck. wait i don't have the good kind of luck and i guess all of i did have i used to upload yesterdays pic! bah bum bug to all you it's gonna get better people!

senor y senorita pericosa

these are my friends anabela and jued. they are getting married this october and asked if i would take their engagement picture. so we went to the place where they're getting hitch and walked around and took pictures of the happy couple. it was loads of fun and a good learning experiance for me. as my friends i was really comfortable with them but realized after how much coaching goes into photographing people. they are truely an amazing couple and am grateful for the experience that they gave me.

Air Hockey

Here's my sister playing air hockey! I had to capture this when I saw it. We were in Vegas and found this arcade in a back corner of some casino. Those were good times!

rainy days!!!

I looooovvvee me some rain! One problem though, I totally refuse to take my camera out in the rain. I still get mad inspiration seeing pictures I just don't have any device to capture the images so they live in my head where they just can't be shared.

ok I took this picture the day I bought my new camera and I didn't know how to use it but I love this shot anyways. Those boys move so fast I had the camera set on action but it didn't matter I still got unclear pictures. That's part of why I like this though because most basketball shots try to be clear but to capture the movement reminds me of those street shots where the car lights are blurred but they're people not cars! (he made the shot)
